Kindred Spirits: Baylee

Everyone meet Baylee, or as I like to call her, my southern belle. I call her that because she's an Alabama native, with the cutest southern accent. She couldn't be more of a belle. Just the cutest, tiniest, sweetest little thing.

I met Baylee the same way I've met most of my best friends; at church. Well, actually at Crema one night right before church. But we connected right off the bat. We had only just met but we couldn't stop hugging each other. That is one of my favorite things about Baylee. She gives the best and most hugs out of all my friends.

After we talked at church, we made plans to get dinner together later that week. The things we talked about and shared with each other seemed to align perfectly with one another. Everything I loved, she loved. Anything she had been through, I had been through. She is truly a kindred spirit.

I love having this friend who is in pursuit of the same things as me, and even better than that, is such an incredible joy to be around. She brings light to any place she goes. There is sincerity in her eyes when she listens or talks to you. She has such a huge heart for others.

Though we don't get to see each other all the time due to conflicting schedules, we quickly established the type of relationship where we can always pick up right where we left off, as if nothing has changed. (But I would not complain about getting to be with her all the time, because she's just a stinkin' bundle of joy. So much love and so much sass, which are two of my favorite things.)

We took these photos in Nashville near one of our new favorite places, Steadfast Coffee. Enjoy.
