This year for Father's Day, I spent the afternoon at the world's largest treehouse. I knew of this place long before I ever moved to Nashville, and I was so excited to finally visit. It's located about an hour an a half outside of town in Crossville, Tennesssee. And the drive was so worth it.
The back story behind the place is that the man who built it says that God told him "if you build me a treehouse I won't let you run out of material." And I guess His promise came true, since the man finished the treehouse. It was amazing.
The treehouse was closed off to the public a while ago, and I'm not sure the reason other than that it's a fire hazard. But no one is there guarding the place, it just has a weak wooden fence that we all climbed over. I don't feel guilty.
Enjoy!
