This weekend, my friend Maddie and I went to the Smokey Mountains! It was probably the most spontaneous trip I've ever taken. I was at work early in the morning and she texted me asking if I was busy. I told her I got off at three and she asked if I wanted to go to Gatlinburg with her and her family. I said yes right away. It was snowy there and quite simply, magical. My favorite thing about Madison is how quickly we've become friends. I've only known her for about 2 months now but it feels like we've been friends for much longer. I am so blessed by her. In fact, on my drive to Gatlinburg, I was praising God, because who would have thought just a few months ago when I was getting ready to move here, with out knowing hardly any body, I'd make a friend kind and gracious enough to invite me to the mountains with her and her family? It's all a complete miracle. I am so thankful. Enjoy.
